The new season in England has barely begun and the reigning champions are already in the lead again. Manchester City have everything under control so far and are looking forward to secure another three points on Saturday. City now had to work really hard twice in a row and worry about the title until shortly before the end, something that not everyone was aware of among Pep Guardiola's successful players. Of course, the defending champion will once again be the favorite to win the championship in 2025. The start went as planned with three games, three wina and lots of goals. Admittedly, the opponents were not the most difficult. If you want to look critically, you will of course see that they have conceded a goal in each of the last matches. So nine goals were scored, with six goals in the first half. Manchester's three previous home games against Brentford were very close, with scores of 2-0, 1-2 and 1-0. Brentford hasn't had a bad start to the new season, winning twice and losing once. They lost 0-2 in Liverpool, and the schedule isn't good for away games. After the trip to the Reds and the Skyblues, Tottenham and Manchester United are the next opponents. The two wins againat Crystal Palace and Southampton should provide a tailwind. The Bees were involved in some turbulent matches last season and have always conceded goals in their three games so far and scored five of their own.
